Employer Sponsored Scheme
The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa (Subclass 186) and the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) visa (Subclass 187) category enable employers to sponsor highly skilled workers for permanent residency in Australia.
If you are an employer and unable to find an Australian citizen or permanent resident to fill a vacant position, you can sponsor an overseas skilled professional or trades worker to come to Australia and work for you.
If you are a professional or a skilled worker who possess recognised qualifications, skills or experience in a specific industry, you can be sponsored by an approved Australian or overseas employer to work for their business in Australia.
The ENS and RSMS visa categories require a significantly high level of documentation. Difficulties can be encountered when employees need to obtain the skills assessment or when employers are required to demonstrate that they have met the “satisfactory record of training” requirement.
It is crucial for you to get the right visa advice to save time and money, and mostly importantly to avoid frustrations or losing opportunities.
At AVS, we can lodge a ‘decision ready application’ on your behalf (either employers or employees) to assist speeding up the visa approval process.
